Boise VA Employee Association It’s about YOU!! The minimum time commitment is a one-hour meeting once a month. We are the only VISN 20 medical center with an active VAEA.

The Boise Veteran Affairs Employee Association (VAEA) is an employee volunteer group whose goal is to build the morale of the employees and make Boise VA one of the best places to work. The Veteran Affairs Employee Association (VAEA) is an employee volunteer group whose goal is to build the morale of the employees and make Boise VA one of the best places to work. The goals are to have fun, get to know your fellow employees, recognize employees’ efforts, and feel connected and involved to your workplace in a unique way. Employee involvement is imperative to the group’s success. Please consider volunteering for a position. Remember, it’s a great way to meet colleagues, build relationships, and get involved in your VA employee community! All funds collected by the Boise VAEA are used to support VA employees locally.

If you’d like your late pet to be included in the album, please read the email about the Pet Picture Competition information sent on 8/14 for submission guidelines.
• Show Compassion and Comfort: This is a healing space. Please keep all interactions gentle, supportive, and kind as colleagues share their grief.
• Keep the Focus on Our Pets: Posts should be about memories, photos, and stories of our late pets, or resources to help with pet loss.
• Maintain Workplace Trust: Please respect your colleagues’ privacy and don’t share personal posts outside this group, so everyone feels safe.

🍪 Gunfighter Cookie Drive – Sweet Support for Our Troops! 🇺🇸
It’s that time again! The annual Gunfighter Cookie Drive is here, and we’re calling on our incredible community to help send a little love — and a lot of cookies — to the brave men and women of the 366th Fighter Wing, the Gunfighters!
Every year, we come together to bake, donate, and package thousands of cookies to bring homemade comfort and holiday cheer to those who protect our freedom. ❤️✨
How You Can Help:
🍪 Bake your favorite cookies (no frosting or perishable fillings)
📦 Package cookies by the dozen in secure containers
📍 Drop them off at your collection site by December 8th
