Boise VA Employee Association It’s about YOU!! The minimum time commitment is a one-hour meeting once a month. We are the only VISN 20 medical center with an active VAEA.

The Boise Veteran Affairs Employee Association (VAEA) is an employee volunteer group whose goal is to build the morale of the employees and make Boise VA one of the best places to work. All funds collected by the Boise VAEA are used to support VA employees locally.

🍪 Gunfighter Cookie Drive – Sweet Support for Our Troops! 🇺🇸
It’s that time again! The annual Gunfighter Cookie Drive is here, and we’re calling on our incredible community to help send a little love — and a lot of cookies — to the brave men and women of the 366th Fighter Wing, the Gunfighters!
Every year, we come together to bake, donate, and package thousands of cookies to bring homemade comfort and holiday cheer to those who protect our freedom. ❤️✨

Meridian will celebrate Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, at 11:00 am, with a public ceremony at the Rock of Honor Veterans Memorial located inside Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park (1900 N. Records Avenue, Meridian). This patriotic and inspiring event, hosted by the Rock of Honor Board and other local veterans organizations, will pay tribute to our nation’s military service members and will feature a keynote address, a wreath laying, a rifle salute, music and more. Red poppies, the nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served in all wars, will be available at the event. The gathering is expected the last approximately 45 minutes. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or lawn blankets, and umbrellas if inclement weather is expected.
