Exciting news: We've found a plaque maker – it's the same one used by the California Professional Pet Groomers Association! 🤩 We'll be contacting them this week to discuss engraving options, so stay tuned for updates! ✍️

Hey all! Just wanted to update you on our progress! Thank you for the new follows, likes and shares!

•We are hosting our first CPR/First Aide classes expected to run on an annual basis and are SO excited for those who have purchased tickets to atrend! We are finishing up last minute details to grab bags but we are prepared to enjoy the day with you!

• We are pairing with other state representatives to be able to offer group-rate insurance plans for IPPGA members!! This one is very exciting for those of us struggling to find appropriate and affordable health/dental; and a huge milestone in working together to help improve our industry.

•Merch! We will have it debuted at our First Aid/CPR event for all attendees and are so excited to show you who we have partnered with to give you the coolest IPPGA material!

• We've been getting messages on a few topics; mainly how to participate! Consider this our call to action. If you've been thinking about getting involved; we are creating and seeking to fill the following positions. Those with educational or medical background encouraged to apply; no experience necessary to be involved! ⭐️

• Director of Studies
- this position requires networking with our existing affiliates and engaging in new partnerships. This position involves travel to certain shows under the IPPGA/WAGA banner to let the world know we are here! Stand next to hall of fame groomers & meet and greet groomers from everywhere! Did we mention trade show admission and available extra classes? Yes! Its important to us that we allocate funds to send IPPGA members to seek and bring back more knowledge. This is a priority for us.

• Assistant Treasurer
-this position requires no networking, can be totally remote, only lite bookkeeping quarterly. There is no payroll to manage and our non profit is an easy file under 50k.

For now, our work is volunteer based and mission focused. From the bottom of our hearts we thank everybody who has shown even a little interest. We aim to be a part of continuing education in the PNW for pet groomers and pet parents alike, and you are helping make that happen! ⭐️

Hey everyone! 👋 Just a friendly reminder that with this summer heat, asphalt can get 🔥🔥🔥 and burn our furry friends' paws. 🐾 Always check the pavement temperature before taking your dog for a walk. 🐕 A good rule of thumb is if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws! Let's keep our pups safe and happy! 🥰☀️
