Let’s bring parkrun to Meridian!
Welcome to the (future) Meridian parkrun!
parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5K (3.1 mi) community run/jog/walk open to ALL abilities and ages. Starting with just 13 runners at a park near London in 2004, parkrun has grown to 1400+ locations in 20 countries!
Once official, we will meet every Saturday morning at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park. Simply go onto https://www.parkrun.us/register for a free, one-time registration that will get you a personal barcode. Print the barcode off, bring your running shoes, and meet us Saturday morning. We take care of the rest. Please, send us a message with any questions regarding the registration process.
Thanks to the support of volunteers, parkrun will always be free. We rely on outstanding volunteers willing to dedicate an hour of their Saturday to bringing our community together. All training is provided. If you are interested in getting involved, send us a message. We’d love to hear from you!
