AID Boise Boise Chapter of AID, is a volunteer movement promoting sustainable, equitable and just development with projects throughout India.

AID (Association for India's Development www.aidindia.org), founded in 1991, is a volunteer movement promoting sustainable, equitable and just development with projects throughout India. AID's local chapters support grassroots organizations in projects ranging from agriculture, sustainable livelihoods and environment, to health, children’s education, women's empowerment, a

nd social justice. We are engaged in 3 critical aspects of each issue - Sanghrash (Activism), Seva (Service), and Nirman (Development). The Boise Metro area has 1600 people of Indian Origin forming a small ethnic community bringing cultural diversity to the Treasure Valley. The Boise chapter of AID selects and supports projects in a wide variety of issues. We also promote community and Indian culture through events including our Annual fundraiser "India Nite".
