The 2026 Mountain West Veterinary Conference was an amazing time! The IVMA is truly grateful for the sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees who invested in the event's success. It could not have happened without it.

Per tradition, the prestigious honor of 2026 "Veterinarian of the Year" award was bestowed at the gathering on Dr. David Ard of Southway Animal Clinic in Lewiston, Idaho. Dr. Ard is a long-time leader, innovator, and supporter of the IVMA and the profession. Congrats to Dr. Ard!

Special "shout out" to the awesome people with MWI Animal Health and Boehringer-Ingelheim who did an AMAZING job providing the most delicious steak for the annual steak fry and auction benefitting the Idaho Veterinary Medical Foundation to raise scholarship money for veterinary students.

SAVE THE DATE! May 20-22 is confirmed for the 2027 MWVC at the Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho. See you there!
