📢 League Bylaw Reminder
We want to clear up some confusion regarding Inter-League, Inter-Region, Out-of-League games, and scrimmages.

This rule is NOT new. It has been part of the IYFL bylaws since after the 2024 season.

The bylaws state that any inter-league, inter-region, out-of-league game, or scrimmage requires prior approval from the IYFL Board. Teams that participate in an out-of-conference game without prior approval may be subject to forfeiting their season.

We understand questions may come up as the season gets underway, but we want to be clear that this is an existing league rule—not a new rule or a change being implemented this season.

Our goal is to make sure all associations and teams are operating under the same rules and expectations throughout the league.
