When you’re busy building a community, sometimes you completely lose track of the calendar! 🤷‍♀️🎉
I woke up today, October 22nd, fully convinced it was our business anniversary. Turns out, our actual 4th birthday was back on October 17th! 🤦‍♀️🎂
But honestly, looking at this photo of LaDawn and me from two years ago halfway through our journey brings back all the best memories anyway. Four years ago, we started with a simple vision to connect local birth workers. Today, that vision has grown into a structured, professional business and collective.
Our organization thrives because of the dedicated current members who call this ecosystem home—from our compassionate birth and postpartum doulas to our specialized perinatal mental health counselors and pre/postnatal fitness instructors.
We might be a few days late to our own party on social media, but we are so proud of the community we’ve built together over the last 4 years. Thank you to the families and professionals who call this collective home. Cheers to Year 5! 🥂🌱

The Boise birth community is blooming! ✨🌱
There is something so incredibly restorative about getting a room full of doulas and birthworkers together. Being a birthworker can sometimes feel isolating, but events like our recent Connect & Bloom gathering remind us that we are never on an island.
We laughed, we shared resources, and we talked deeply about how we can continue to show up for Treasure Valley families. Check out the photos to feel the energy of the room!
