Even with all the construction going on at the Boise Veterans Home – thanks to the Boise VA Medical Center the annual Gear Jammers is ON! 🚗✨

Construction won’t stop the fun this year!

We’re excited to announce that the 2026 GearJammers Car Show will take place as scheduled thanks to an amazing partnership with the Boise VA Medical Center, who have generously opened their parking lot for this year’s event. ❤️💙

Come enjoy a great day of classic cars, live music, raffles, food, and community spirit—all supporting the Idaho State Veterans Home.

Shout out to our Department and Detachment Chaplain William Luke!!
He is the hardest working Chaplain! Thank you for all you do for our Marines, Detachment and the State!!

On February 3, 1943, Chaplains George Fox, Alexander Goode, Clark Poling, and John Washington gave their lives aboard the USAT Dorchester, sacrificing their own life jackets so others could live. These brave Soldiers lived and served by the truth of Psalm 23: even “through the valley of the shadow of death,” they feared no evil, trusting in God’s presence with them. In observing Four Chaplains Day, Chaplains, Religious Affairs Specialists, DREs, and all who serve in the Army Chaplain Corps continue to be inspired by the legacy of the Four Chaplains.
