Lake Bowen, one of Spartanburg County's favorite spots for boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors, is a man-made reservoir that was created to provide drinking water to the Spartanburg area!

Today, it's also a beautiful place for families and friends to make memories right here in our community.

Small businesses are a BIG part of South Carolina’s workforce.

More than 863,000 South Carolinians are employed by small businesses. Behind those numbers are local families, careers, opportunities, and communities that continue to grow.

When you support a local business, you are supporting local jobs and helping strengthen the community around you.

Keep it local. Keep it growing.

Supporting a small business doesn’t always mean spending money. Here are 5 FREE ways you can make a difference:

1. Leave a positive Google review
2. Share their social media posts
3. Tag a friend who may need their services
4. Recommend them in local community groups
5. Like, comment, and engage with their content

It only takes a few seconds, but that support can help a local business reach its next customer.

Let’s keep supporting the businesses that make Boiling Springs a great place to live, work, and do business!
