This Memorial Day, we pause to express our deepest gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness are beyond measure. They stood on the front lines, fought for our freedom, and protected our way of life.

Each one of them is a hero. They served with honor, fought with valor, and carried the weight of our nation upon their shoulders. Their stories of bravery and sacrifice continue to inspire us and remind us of the true cost of freedom.

We remember them today and every day. Their legacy lives on in the freedoms we enjoy and the peace we cherish. To every soldier who fought and died for our country, we say thank you. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

May we honor their memory by living our lives with the same courage, dedication, and love for our country that they demonstrated. Today, we stand in awe of their sacrifice and in gratitude for their service. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."—John 15:13

Today, September 17th, is Constitution Day. We celebrate the United States Constitution and acknowledge God for His goodness in sustaining America as the longest on-going constitutional republic in the world. Thirty-nine of the Founding Fathers signed the US Constitution on this day in 1787.

Significantly, many of the delegates directly involved in writing the Constitution acknowledged the hand of Divine Providence for this work. For example, Alexander Hamilton said: "For my own part, I sincerely esteem it a system which without the finger of God could never have been suggested and agreed upon by such a diversity of interests."

“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons…” (1Tim 4:1). This is a must read for discerning followers of Christ who want to understand the times in which we live and the nature of the battle we face. Excellent book.
