Over the past semester, these students have built meaningful connections, gained real-world experience, and contributed so much to the DGH community along the way. Watching their confidence and growth throughout the program has been such a privilege.

One of the best parts of last week’s Courageous Conversations workshop was how interactive it became. People weren’t just listening, they were sharing experiences, asking questions, making connections, and learning from each other in real time.

Thank you to Josh Hoffman for sharing the story behind LightHeaded Helmets during our latest Entrepreneurial Journeys Speaker Series. It has been incredible to watch this business grow as part of the Das GreenHaus community, and Josh’s insights left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

Josh gave an honest look at what it takes to build a product-driven business with innovation, purpose, and persistence. A few insights that resonated with the room:

• Don’t wait for the perfect moment — jump on the opportunity and believe in yourself
• Improvement always matters
• Resilience matters just as much as the idea itself

Most impactful was Josh’s willingness to speak candidly about the realities of entrepreneurship — the pivots, challenges, and determination it takes to keep moving forward.
