Tonight is October 6.
Tomorrow marks three years since October 7, 2023, the terrible day that changed the lives of the people of Israel forever.

We remember those who were murdered on October 7 and at the Nova music festival, and the soldiers who fell in the war that followed.

We especially remember the residents of Zichron Yaakov who were murdered or fell, including Yishai Eliakim Orbach z״l, a graduate of the Youth Leadership Program of the Zichron Yaakov–South Palm Beach Partnership.

We remember Yishai and all the members of our community who fell, and all those who gave their lives in defense of Israel.

Three years have passed, but their memory lives on in our hearts.
We will continue to tell their stories. We will never forget. 🇮🇱

We can’t wait to bring our young leaders to meet their friends in South Palm Beach County and continue building the next chapter of our partnership together.

Today, we had the pleasure of presenting Maayan Laor and Adva Dahan with Zichron Yaakov flags, which they will take with them to Boca Raton in just a few days as they begin a meaningful year of service with the Jewish community of South Palm Beach. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

Maayan and Adva are both proud alumni of our Youth Leadership Program, and we are thrilled that they were selected from hundreds of applicants to take on this meaningful role and serve as ambassadors of our community overseas. ❤️

We wish you both an incredible year filled with meaningful experiences, personal growth, new friendships, and lots of wonderful moments with our partner community in South Palm Beach!

We’re already looking forward to hearing all about your experiences. ✈️🇮🇱🇺🇸

Good luck, Maayan and Adva! We’re so excited for you! 💙
