On Friday, we had the honor of taking part in the “Sheli Run” at Ramat Hanadiv. This was an incredibly moving and meaningful community event that our Partnership was proud to support.
The run was initiated and organized by Kobi Cohen, Sheli’s husband, who brought together the community for this touching and inspiring event in her memory. Sheli Storzi Cohen, a fifth-generation resident of Zichron Ya’akov, passed away from breast cancer at just over 30 years old. Sheli was a young mother to two young boys, one of them still a baby at the time, and she is deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
On behalf of the Zichron Ya’akov-South Palm Beach Partnership, I had the privilege of speaking before the run and sharing a few words about the connection between our communities, our shared values, and the importance of initiatives like this, promoting health, raising awareness for early detection, commemorating loved ones, and strengthening the human bonds that unite us.
We are grateful to have been part of such a powerful and inspiring event.

The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is closely monitoring the coordinated U.S. and Israeli strikes in Iran.

We stand firmly in support of efforts that strengthen the long-term security of Israel, the United States, and our allies.

We pray for the protection of innocent lives, for the brave members of the United States Armed Forces and the Israel Defense Forces, and for the success of this mission.
