Super cuties!!! Chinchillas have special needs, like magic fairy dust! Who wouldn't want to learn all about them and share their home with two fuzzy little sweethearts ❤️

Went to Josephine's Rattery & Rescue and met 2 adorable chinchillas that are up for adoption. They are so cute! One is 5 years old and the other is 1. The younger one needs more socialization but they are both so sweet! Someone adopt these sweet girls ❤❤ cage included in adoption :)

This is really important for bird families.

**PLEASE BE AWARE -- UPDATE -- NOVEMBER WARNING!! Thanksgiving holiday is coming up, and so I just wanted to inform and/ or remind everyone out there to please DO NOT USE TURKEY-ROASTING BAGS!! They have been determined unsafe for use around birds (your indoor pet birds, that is..) . There are documented cases of birds having died during use of these products. It is not worth the risk!!

*PLEASE BE AWARE*
There is a newer non-stick foil being marketed that is NOT SAFE for cooking with birds in the house. This comes in all store brands too, so please note the label when you make your purchase!
*Edit *-- I have had some inquiries as to why the non-stick foil is unsafe. While the makers of Reynolds Wrap brand state their brand is teflon free, there are silicones used that are still considered unsafe as coatings on cookware, where birds are concerned. There is plenty of discussion on parrot groups and boards in support of this finding. It is the general consensus that all non- stick coatings are not safe for birds.

For the ones who failed to read the post clearly, this is NOT REGULAR EVERY DAY FOIL! It has a non-stick coating applied. It has NOT been around for 60 years. I don't care how long anyone has been using this or that. I'm telling what I know to be true. Please follow through the whole article before posting stupid comments. They will only be deleted.

Please contact No Paw Left Behind and please SHARE! Rats are loving pets too and need help!

URGENT!!! We need foster's for hand reared hooded and albino rats. There are almost twenty in need and we will be splitting them up by s*x. Owner reports they are very friendly. We need a plan for them by Saturday morning, they have an unknown fate beyond that deadline. They will come with cages and basic supplies, foster are asked to contribute for food, but if unable we can help supply food as well.

(Not one of them pictured below. This is the type and size of rat we are talking about, so posting as a reference and to promote the awesomeness of rats. For more info on how amazing they are as pets, Google rats with teddy bears❣)

Our societal acceptance of keeping birds in cages as pets provides a clear example of generational thinking. We should, in fact, acknowledge the obvious cruelty of keeping a living being, destined to fly free in the sky, confined to a cage.
