Jamie Leibert’s story begins in a place many don’t return from—addiction, prison, and the kind of pain that breaks most people. He decided his story wasn’t over. It was just beginning. What followed wasn’t easy. Brave. Step by step, Jamie built a new life. From the inside out. Today, he’s an adventure athlete, documentary filmmaker, and motivational speaker—but more than that, he’s a living exampl

e that transformation is possible. His journey has inspired millions to believe the same. Through extreme adventures, viral videos, and raw storytelling, Jamie shares not just the highs—but the battles it took to get there so others can see themselves in the journey. His upcoming documentary Battling Monsters follows him from prison to Patagonia as he attempts a world-first wingsuit BASE jump and confronts the inner monsters we all face. With 560,000+ followers, 500M+ video views, and reach in 80+ countries, Jamie’s message has moved millions. These aren’t just numbers. They’re proof that people are hungry for stories that matter. His mission is simple: help people confront fear, rise from adversity, and create lives of purpose. This isn’t just about him. It’s about you. About what’s possible when you stop running from your story and start writing a better one. We hiked up to wingsuit BASE jump.

Forecast said manageable.
Reality said windy as ***.

So instead of forcing it, we adapted.

Pulled the parachutes from the BASE rigs and paraglided down instead.

First time I’d ever done that.
And honestly… I couldn’t believe it worked.

Sometimes the mountain says no.
That doesn’t mean the day is over.

Shoutout to .palardy for sending it down with us.

🗣️ Our mission is to show that setbacks aren’t failures — they’re pivots.
🙏 PLEASE share this if you believe creativity beats ego every time.

Something’s inside

Oliver and I were driving through Spain with one mission.

Find things to jump off of.

We weren’t looking for anything in particular. Just moving, keeping our eyes open, the way you do when you’ve trained yourself to see the world as one big exit point.

Then I spotted it. An abandoned smokestack rising out of nowhere. No context. No explanation. Just this massive concrete tower standing in the middle of the Spanish countryside like it had been waiting.

I did what any reasonable person would do. Walked up and tried the door.
Unlocked.

Now look. I’m not saying I went in. I’m saying I absolutely went in. Because if a door is open, that’s basically an invitation, and Oliver and I are not the type to turn down invitations.

The question was whether there were stairs. Because if there were stairs, there was a jump. And if there was a jump, we were doing it.

You spend enough time traveling the world looking for exits and you start to develop a sense for these things. The height looked right. The surroundings looked clear. All we needed was a way up.

Some days you plan everything perfectly. The location, the conditions, the gear check, the weather window.

Other days you’re just two guys in Spain rattling door handles on old smokestacks and seeing what happens.

This was the second kind of day. And honestly, those are some of my favorites.

Follow along to find out what was inside.

From broken to brave

(Written by Sandra)

Seven years ago, I shattered my heel in Lauterbrunnen Valley. Third-ever speed flight. Bad landing. Calcaneus bone broken into pieces.

That injury still affects me today. It gave me PTSD around landings. If you know how I feel about landings, you know.

But here's what I didn't understand back then. I kept trying to love flying the way Jamie does. I felt obligated. Like I had to force myself to enjoy it. Every takeoff came with dread, not excitement.

The truth? I didn't hate flying. I just hadn't found my version of it yet.

Two years ago, everything changed. I discovered single skin mini wings. Suddenly, I realized I loved the climb. The hike up. Flying was just the tool to avoid hiking down.

That simple shift changed everything. Then I found my real dream: adventure filmmaking. The female Jimmy Chin version for air sports.

Now I'm launching solo off mountains. I'm BASE jumping. I'm training for a project in Patagonia where Jamie and I will jump off a never-jumped peak and climb 5,000 feet back up.

And seven years later, I'm BASE jumping in the same valley that broke me.

I never thought I'd be this version of Sandra. But here I am, in uncharted territory, becoming someone I didn't know I could be.

From broken to brave. And just getting started.

My three-legged copilot.

Five years ago we had a custom harness built so Journey could fly with me.

She only has three legs, so nothing off the shelf would work. We found a skydiving rigger in Turkey who cut the material and stitched together the coolest harness you’ve ever seen.

After that, we flew together constantly. Head out in the wind, looking around, taking in the view. She was nervous the first time. Now it’s her happy place.

But she grew. Got longer, filled out, and the harness got too small and uncomfortable. You could tell she loved flying and hated the gear.

It was so custom we couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Until Adrenaline Base stepped in and agreed to rebuild it for her.

So right now she’s grounded. Not for long. Custom harness 2.0 is coming, and our girl is going back in the air.
