Tiger Bass Race

Tiger Bass Race Funds are raised for local not-for-profit organizations through the Tiger Bass 5K/10K Race, a running/ walking event held each October in Hampton Lake.

Today’s Tiger Bass event has originated from the 2008 Hampton Lake Tiger Bass 5K Run/Walk, an October event to support The Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary Breast Cancer Awareness Fund. Approximately thirty runners and walkers braved the trail in chilly temperatures and heavy rain. Not letting a little rain dampen one’s spirit, the race committee expanded the following year to include a One Mile Fu

n Run/Walk. In 2017 we have expanded the 12k to a 15k offering area runners an opportunity to compete in our newest phase and on the miles of beautiful nature trails here in Hampton Lake.
