What a day of action between the Bluefield Rail Birds and Beckley Mianeers. The friendships and fun reunited today in Beckley. The genuine hugs, smiles, compassion, sportsmanship and yes the joking around between teams was as always something to witness.

It is amazing to watch how excited players from both teams get seeing each other if only for a few hours a few days a year. The power of Baseball in its purist form.

Bluefield Rail Birds didn't take pictures today. Our media team was busy filming the game. The highlights of all today's action from the game will be on our YouTube Channel Bluefield Rail Birds Media soon.

UPDATE ON JERSEYS:

Parents and Fans who order Bluefield Rail Birds Jerseys. Jerseys are due to be delivered today according to todays tracking update. This jerseys have been on a world tour. Left Cairo Egypt on May 22, making stops in Germany, New Jersey, Cincinnati, Greensboro, Roanoke AL, Greensboro, Roanoke Va, Salem VA, Greensboro, Indianapolis, Chicago, Charleston WV and now in Bluefield.

They will not be delivered in time to have them for the game in Beckley today.

Bluefield Rail Birds vs Beckley Mianeers this Saturday June 6, Beckley Babe Ruth at Harry Lewin Field 11am. 269 N Eisenhower Dr Beckley WV 25801.

Players please be at the field at 10:15 am. So we can be ready to start the game at 11am. There is only 1 game and we know a few players won't be available this weekend.
