The Blue Springs Education Foundation enhances the exceptional programs and instruction of the Blue Springs School District. The BSEF now provides over $80,000 annually in teacher grants and over $250,000 annually in student scholarships, including support for at-risk students and the Grow Your Own Teachers program.

While gearing up for the 2025/2026 school year, the Blue Springs Education Foundation welcomed all first-year teachers and surprised them with $300 grants to help fund classroom décor, furniture and student supplies. The foundation also presented $50 Amazon gift cards to teachers who are new to teaching in the Blue Springs School District. A special thank you to Ken and Annette Logan, Meyer Music, and the Duvall family for making these grants and gift cards possible.

This winter has proven to be difficult. Snow is expected on and off through tomorrow afternoon. For the safety of our students and staff, school and Prime Time will be closed on Tuesday, February 18. Tomorrow will be a traditional snow day.

The weather forecast for the week includes dangerously cold temperatures. We will continue monitoring the forecast closely and send updates each evening by 7 p.m. We understand these possible closures may be challenging for your family, and we appreciate your flexibility.

Cordill-Mason Elementary Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Stephanie Callahan was surprised as the first-ever Spotlight on Teaching recipient at the Blue Springs Education Foundation annual breakfast. Stephanie was chosen for making her classroom and school the place kids, colleagues, and families want to be. Her award also included a $1,000 classroom grant.
