WHAT A DAY! THANK YOU, JAMES WALKER COMMUNITY!
We are still smiling thinking about our second annual James Walker Elementary Farmers Market! What started as an idea to raise money for our school turned into such a fun day filled with amazing vendors, smiling faces, great food, shopping, and so much community support.
There are SO many people we need to thank. ❤️
To our amazing vendors:
Thank you for spending your Saturday with us, setting up your booths, sharing your businesses and talents, and supporting James Walker Elementary. We are so grateful you chose to be part of our Farmers Market!

To our PTA volunteers:
Thank you for all the hours of planning, organizing, advertising, preparing, setting up, directing traffic, helping vendors, cleaning up, and doing all the little things that most people never see. We are so thankful for everyone who helped make it happen.
To our Amazing Principal and Vice Principal:
You already give so much of your time, energy, and heart to James Walker Elementary every single day. So the fact that you chose to spend even more of your time with us at an event that was not required of you means more than we can say.
To our JWE staff who showed up to support us:
Thank you for giving up part of your weekend and showing your support for our school. Seeing our staff there meant so much to us!
To everyone who liked, commented on, shared, or helped spread the word about our event:
Every like and share helped us reach more people in our community. Thank you for helping us get the word out!
And to everyone who came out to support our vendors and our school:
Thank you for shopping, eating, drinking, visiting, and simply showing up. Your support made the day what it was!
Most importantly, thank you for helping us support our students. The Farmers Market is our biggest PTA fundraiser of the year, and the money raised helps us provide things like field trip transportation, snacks for every student during MAP testing week, family programs, grade-level T-shirts, and so much more for our JWE kids.
We couldn't do it without this incredible community.
