Homecoming is more than a date on the calendar—it’s an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
Jude 1:22 reminds us:
"And of some have compassion, making a difference." (KJV)
The greatest impact we can have isn't through a program, a building, or even a special event. It's through showing compassion to people who need encouragement, hope, and the love of Christ.
As we prepare for Homecoming, let's remember that there may be someone who is one invitation, one handshake, one smile, or one act of kindness away from having their life changed forever. What if God uses you to make that difference?
This Homecoming, let's not just celebrate where we've been—let's be intentional about reaching someone who needs to know they are loved, valued, and welcome in God's house.
Who can you invite? Who can you encourage? Who can you show compassion to this week?
You never know how one simple act of kindness could make an eternal difference.
