Join us on Saturday, June 6th from 9 AM – 12 Noon at 1519 St. Rt. 487, Orangeville, PA for this FREE event designed for individuals with special needs and their families!

The Community Resource Hub will be set up with our Sensory Tent 🏕️ — come visit us and learn about resources available in our community!

At this event you can expect:
✅ Fishing with an experienced angler (no license or experience needed, gear provided!)
✅ Nature crafts & activities
✅ Free lunch for registered guests & their families
✅ And of course… our Sensory Tent! 🌟

Join Advocacy Alliance for the Erica Shultz 6th Annual Training: Social Media 101 Keeping Ourselves and Individuals Who Have Disabilities Safe.

This FREE, two-hour virtual training will walk you through practical tips for staying safe on social media. Presenter, Nora Haynos, is a bilingual Education and Outreach Specialist with the Office of the Attorney General, and she makes this stuff easy to understand.

I am incredibly honored and grateful to have been recognized at Commonwealth University Bloomsburg’s Lavendar Graduation by Ray for my mentorship.

Ray’s time with the Community Resource Hub was truly pivotal not only for him, but for all of us.

What began as an internship through a new program that spanned two semesters quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Watching his growth, dedication, and passion unfold was a reminder of exactly why this work matters.

Experiences like this are a reminder that the work we do is really about people and connection. The relationships built here matter, and they leave a lasting impact on everyone involved. What we have at the Y goes beyond programs or services, it truly feels like a family, and that is something special.

Ray, thank you for your kind words and for allowing me to be part of your journey. I am so proud of you and excited to see what comes next.

The Special Needs Coalition, in partnership with the Bloomsburg Area YMCA Community Resource Hub, invites you to join our Family Support Group, a welcoming space for parents and caregivers of children with special needs.

Connect with others who understand your journey, share experiences, and access valuable resources in a supportive, encouraging environment. This group is all about building community and learning from one another.
