📣 Parents and caregivers, the Family Resource Group is back!

Now that summer is over and everyone is settling back into the school year, we are coming together again for an evening of connection and support.

The Special Needs Coalition, in partnership with the Bloomsburg Area YMCA Community Resource Hub, invites parents and caregivers of children with special needs to join us. This is a welcoming space to share experiences, learn from one another, find encouragement, and connect with resources for your family.

💜 This program is FREE and open to the community.

Our Community Vaccine Clinic is just two weeks away!

Come down to the Bloomsburg Area YMCA from 9:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8th or 4:30-6:30 PM on Wednesday, September 9th to receive your vaccines. Vaccines for flu, pneumonia, shingles, TDap, and RSV will be available, with pending availability of COVID-19 vaccines as well.

A big thank you to GIANT for partnering with us to keep our community healthy!

Join us on Saturday, June 6th from 9 AM – 12 Noon at 1519 St. Rt. 487, Orangeville, PA for this FREE event designed for individuals with special needs and their families!

The Community Resource Hub will be set up with our Sensory Tent 🏕️ — come visit us and learn about resources available in our community!

At this event you can expect:
✅ Fishing with an experienced angler (no license or experience needed, gear provided!)
✅ Nature crafts & activities
✅ Free lunch for registered guests & their families
✅ And of course… our Sensory Tent! 🌟

Join Advocacy Alliance for the Erica Shultz 6th Annual Training: Social Media 101 Keeping Ourselves and Individuals Who Have Disabilities Safe.

This FREE, two-hour virtual training will walk you through practical tips for staying safe on social media. Presenter, Nora Haynos, is a bilingual Education and Outreach Specialist with the Office of the Attorney General, and she makes this stuff easy to understand.
