Gift Cards Needed to Help Keep Local Families Fed

Bloomington Mutual Aid for Schools is collecting grocery gift cards March 10–28 to support families across Bloomington Public Schools.

Preferred stores: Walmart, Cub, Aldi, Target
Amounts: $35–$249

Drop off at: West Side Perk, Perk Up Kitchen, Atonement Lutheran Church, or Bloomington Eagles #3208.

Pick one up on your next grocery run and help make sure neighbors have food on the table. 💙

Look what this community is making possible.

Since January, Bloomington Mutual Aid has helped fulfill 211 housing requests, keeping 160 households housed and distributing $370,988 in housing support.

Right now, 51 more housing requests are in progress, and April requests are already beginning.

At the same time, 305 families are receiving groceries each week through community deliveries.

This is neighbors showing up for neighbors.

More families are reaching out for help as rent deadlines approach, and the need is growing.
Housing stability is still at risk across our community.

When we raise the first $40,000, a $40,000 match will be released to help accelerate support for families.
