Another amazing week for Freemasonry! February has been very active for Freemasonry. We had our stated meeting on the 2nd; we had a well-received presentation by Bro Rene J Perez. On the 4th, we had a courtesy Master Mason degree for the Grand Lodge of Delaware, and this evening we raised one to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. This morning we also had a funeral service, and we had representatives to represent our lodge at another lodge's official visit within the 3rd Masonic District with the District Deputy Grand Master and the Grand Master! Well done! Great job, everyone!

I have three eyes.
Two to look.
One to see.

Looking is easy. Anyone can watch, read, repeat words, memorize ritual.
But seeing? That takes work.

In Freemasonry, the ritual isn’t meant to live on paper or in memory alone.
It’s meant to live in you.

You can look at symbols.
You can hear lectures.
You can recite lines perfectly.

But you don’t truly see until you start asking:
“What does this mean for how I live?”
“How does this change how I treat others?”
“How does this shape the man I’m becoming?”

The third eye isn’t mystical.
It’s disciplined awareness.
It’s reflection.
It’s turning light into action.

Ritual only becomes wisdom when it changes your conduct.
Until then, you’re just looking.
When it changes you—now you’re seeing.

Ignore the extremely dark, almost-black blue tie for a second 😅

Midland York Rite… yes, that Landman York Rite…has had a rough go these past few years.

In a short span of time, 20+ Sir Knights, Companions, and Brothers laid down their working tools.

What remained was a small group of passionate men carrying a weight that would overwhelm anyone.

This weekend, though, something special happened.

Brothers from all over Texas rolled into town, and we went to work.

No titles. No fanfare. No one asking who was “in charge.”

We just stepped in wherever hands were needed, from Mark Master all the way through the Order of the Temple.

All hands. One purpose.

I had the honor of conferring the Order of the Temple, and from what I’ve been told, I knighted 15 new Knights Templar.

I’ll be honest… I was so exhausted by the end, I lost count.

This is what Masonry looks like when it’s done right.
Not perfect. Not easy. Just Brothers showing up when it matters.

Yesterday a very proud mother installed her daughter into the Chair of King Solomon in Lodge Tuscan No 66, Glasgow. order_of_women_freemasons scotsmasons
