Illinois Wesleyan University’s Habitat for Humanity campus chapter works with future homeowners in the community to build houses from the ground up. Along with a great community base, Illinois Wesleyan University has partnered with Illinois State University to combat homelessness in Bloomington-Normal. In August of 2010, the IWU/ISU Habitat Chapter received the Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter

of the Year Award. Our combined chapters have come together to build over 30 houses in the Bloomington-Normal area. Students and professors come together to build every Saturday and we fundraise throughout the year to donate back to our McLean County Affiliate as well as an affiliate overseas.
