It’s not an easy conversation to have with yourself or someone else, but to know there’s guidance and resources to help you through it, does make a difference!

We were able to sign up a good amount of volunteers for future events 😊💛💙

In last night’s April Session analyzed 3 different scenarios of suicidal ideation. Each story painted a picture of the levels of risk in accessing su***de.

We learned about:

💙Asking Direct Questions
💙Never ignoring someone stating that want to die, regardless of age
💙To ask open ended questions about self-harm, while not using the word “why”
💙What resources a friend can reach out to for assistance and how to use 988 as a third party
💙When to involve 911, for high risk suicidal ideation

So proud of my group, they were able to effectively identify these approaches with little to no help 🥰
