Shout-out to our many sponsors in attendance, including Miss Indiana University / Pageantry at IU advisor Teresa and Miss IU DaeLynn Driver, Miss Zionsville Fall Festival and Kiwanis member, Shaylee Barnes, Dr. Souhei Haddad of Surgical Associates, and Miss Greater Indy Ginger Corden. Also in attendance was Mike Glasscott, who received an appreciation award for his work in partnership with Kiwanis. Gusset speaker is Commander Raymond Krebs of American Legion Post 18.

He presented an overview of the many programs and activities of the Post. Founded over a century ago, Post 18 is the largest in the state of Indiana with almost 1,000 members.

Among the many programs the Legion offers to veterans-in-need and their families are ac programs and activities for children such as sponsoring a baseball team annually since the early 1940’s.

Of course, we can’t ignore the fact that our club meets in the Legion’s Blue Room every week and they treat us well. In appreciation of the Commander’s time with us, President Donn presented him with a candy filled Kiwanis Centennial Mug.
