Hello Bloomfield! Our good friends at Keep Creating are hosting a Create & Sip fundraiser for Bloomfield Pride 💖 Come make some art with us on Saturday, April 25th from 6-8pm!

Admission costs $40 per person, the proceeds of which will help Bloomfield Pride continue our mission to celebrate, educate, and advocate on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community of our town.

Some sweet highlights of our beautiful and meaningful afternoon celebrating Trans Day of Visibility right in the heart of Bloomfield 🏳️‍⚧️ Thanks to everyone who came out to hold signs, write encouraging words, draw stunning chalk art, cheer, pass out buttons and stickers, honk horns, and simply stand in solidarity with our remarkable trans community.

If you participated in another TDOV event in the area, let us know and share your pics, video, and stories with us! We love seeing how all our neighbors show up for each other ❤️

This year, Bloomfield Pride will observe Trans Day of Visibility with you across two separate events.

We’ll start by gathering for some community over coffee, tea, and pastries. Join us 23 Skiddoo Cafe for Lavender Days on Sunday, March 29th, from 1-3pm. We’ll also make signs and discuss our plans for honoring Trans Day of Visibility on the 31st.

Then, on Tuesday, March 31st, meet us at the Bloomfield Train Station (the Glenwood Ave entrance) from 5-7pm to celebrate our trans and nonbinary friends, neighbors, loved ones, and one another. We'll leave messages that raise awareness with sidewalk chalk, as well as distribute guidance to our neighbors and fellow community members about specific actions they can take to protect and advance the rights and civil liberties of trans and non-binary people in New Jersey.

This Sunday, March 22nd, from 2-4pm, join Bloomfield Pride at Temple Ner Tamid for Mitzvah Day, a day of coming together to serve local causes, strengthening our community, and supporting those in need.

The event will feature a bake sale, proceeds from which will allow Bloomfield Pride to purchase LGBTQ+ inclusive books for libraries in Bloomfield's public schools.

🏳‍🌈🏳‍⚧ Bloomfield Pride and Out Montclair invite our communities LGBTQ+ teens to join us for some Junk Journaling at Keep Creating! 🏳‍⚧🏳‍🌈

This workshop is designed especially for LGBTQ+ teens who want to explore identity, creativity, and self-expression in a safe, affirming environment.

You’ll layer papers, images, textures, words, and found materials to build journals that are raw, real, colorful, and completely your own. There are no rules here—just freedom to experiment, reflect, and create boldly.

📅 The first session will be this Sunday, March 15th.
The second session will be next Sunday, March 22nd.

💵 Each session will cost $10, or a total of $20 to attend both.

Everyone deserves a space to be fully seen and celebrated. We hope to see you there!
