Please help!

🐾❤️ WE NEED YOUR HELP! ❤️🐾

This adorable little kitten was brought to Mountain Shelter Adoption Center a couple of days ago, and we recently learned that he tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV).

We’re looking for a loving indoor home where he can be the only cat, or where the other cats are also FeLV-positive. The virus can spread to other cats through close contact.

With proper care and regular veterinary visits, he can still enjoy a happy, fulfilling life. He deserves a family and all the love any kitten does. 💕

If you’re willing to give our sweet boy a forever home, we will waive all adoption fees! 🏡

Please contact Mountain Shelter Adoption Center if you can welcome him into your family. Please share and help us find his special person! 🐱❤️

This is so much fun!!!

Bingo Night in Blairsville!

It’s BINGO Night, y’all! Winter can make even the friendliest folks turn into blanket burrito but we’ve got the perfect reason to come out, warm up, and laugh with real humans. Castoff Pet Rescue Bingo Nights are the mid-week pick-me-up you didn’t know you needed. When the days get short and the nights get chilly, this is where community gathers, friendships happen, and every dab helps a dog or cat get their second chance.

Join us EVERY Wednesday night at the Civic Center (165 Wellborn St) for Community Bingo Night. It’s fun, it’s friendly, and it keeps our rescue running. CPR receives no state or local funding, so our Thrift Store, Bingo Nights, donations, and occasional community events literally keep the lights on and the tails wagging.

Doors open at 6 PM Bingo starts at 7 PM
Snacks and drinks available (hot dogs included, because winter carbs don’t count)
Game Prices
12 cards for 6 games – $25
6 cards – $20
3 cards – $15
55 Ball Rollover and Dab 75
$3 for 1 strip of 3 cards
$5 for 2 strips of 3 cards

Our awesome volunteers will help you get set up quickly and cheerfully. They’re very good at helping you part with your money for a good cause, and they do it with suspiciously charming smiles. Shake off the winter blues, come have fun with friends old and new, and help us save lives. Let’s Bingo for the animals.
