Blaine Is Speaking Up and We Want to Hear From You Too!

93 of your neighbors have already weighed in and the results are eye opening. Here is what Blaine is saying matters most right now:

🥇 Children & Youth — 80%
🥈 Health & Wellness — 46%
🥉 Arts & Culture — 36%
🍽️ Food & Nutrition — 34%
🏘️ Neighborhoods — 30%

These are YOUR priorities. And this is YOUR money. The Blaine Community Fund has $10,000 ready to invest right here at home and every single vote helps decide where it goes.

We need more voices in this conversation. If you live, work, or have a connection to Blaine, please take a moment to go vote. It only takes a minute and it makes a real difference.

🎉 Big News, Blaine! We Have $10,000 and YOU Get to Decide How It's Spent!

Through the Whatcom Community Foundation's Whatcom Together initiative, the Blaine Community Fund has been seeded with $10,000 to invest right here in our community. The best part? Neighbors decide, not outsiders, not bureaucrats. YOU.

So we want to hear from you:

👉 What does Blaine need most?
👉 Where would $10,000 make the biggest impact?

To cast your vote and share your ideas, you MUST use the link below. That is how your voice gets counted:

Click the link, explore the fund, and tell us what matters most to you. Every vote and every idea helps shape what we do with this money for our community.

We are also looking for two things right now:

📋 Advisory Board Members who want to help guide the fund's direction and priorities.

💼 Board Members with experience in grant writing, fundraising, or raising money who want to help grow the Blaine Community Fund into something that makes a real difference here for years to come.

If you are interested in either role, drop a comment, send us a message, email us ( [email protected] ) or share this post with someone who would be a great fit.
This is just the beginning. Let us build something amazing together, Blaine.

In September, passionate leaders across Blaine came together to talk about what our community needs to grow and thrive, and the spirit of philanthropy that filled the room was truly inspiring.
We're proud to share that the Blaine Community Fund is moving forward, and we need YOUR help to get there.

We're actively looking for leaders with grant writing and fundraising experience to help guide our work. We currently have three applications in hand and are looking for more. If that's you, please reach out!

We're also forming a community advisory board, and we want it to reflect ALL of Blaine. Parents, business owners, seniors, young adults, and everyone in between. Flexible, meaningful ways to contribute. Your voice matters here.
