CAIO - Community Arts Information Office The CAIO works to provide arts and cultural information to local residents and visitors of the New River Valley. The Lyric Council, Inc.

is taking the lead in creating a community arts presence in the heart of downtown Blacksburg. The CAIO will provide arts and cultural information for both local citizens and visitors to the New River Valley. The entrance gallery features a visual art gallery and display area for organizations and upcoming events. There is office space available for organizations whose mission's support the arts. T

here is also a flexible multi-purpose room for use as meeting space or a green room/dressing room for Lyric events, thus enhancing the types of stage performances that can be presented. This is a great asset to arts groups through out the region.
