The modern world is filled with inventions, but every invention began with discovery, and every discovery began with something much simpler: the desire to understand.

Benjamin Franklin looked at the world and asked, "How?"

Fortunately for Franklin, he lived in a culture that valued inquiry, disciplined thought, and the patient pursuit of knowledge.

We want to cultivate the same habits in our students.

Classical education encourages children to ask good questions—and equips them with the intellectual tools to pursue the answers.

June 10 is traditionally recognized by historians as the date of Franklin's famous kite experiment—an experiment that helped demonstrate the connection between lightning and electricity.
