Due to the recent blast of us and me personally on social media. I want all of you to know that I am not personally gaining anything from this organization or any of it's property; including events held and money raised. As a matter of FACT; I have been funding this organization almost solely. I have been very open about finances when we have board/member meetings (and they get lengthy at times so its sometimes very quick or has to be discussed the next time). If anyone wants to know where the money is going, you are welcome to come to a monthly meeting. Keep in mind the {dart} community has asked about various things such as shirts, etc...all of that cost money UPFRONT. You can't order anything without paying for it. That money has come from me personally along with money we've raised doing tournaments, league, selling products and donations from the community. We have a meeting this Tuesday at Ginna's in Scheels at 5 if anyone would like to join.
Starting from the ground up, has been a challenge with some amazing helpers along the way. We haven't had a stable board as of yet, until most recently. It's tough since it's volunteer and everyone has a life besides PL. If you want to help in any way, please reach out, come to our meetings, share your ideas!
