Every hunt has a story.

Bird hunting is about more than the birds in the field. It's about early mornings, teamwork, laughter, and the friendships built one step at a time. For our veterans and active-duty service members, these shared experiences create opportunities to reconnect—with the outdoors, with each other, and with a renewed sense of purpose.

At Cross the Divide, we believe that time spent in God's creation has a way of restoring the spirit. Whether it's following a good bird dog, celebrating a successful day afield, or simply enjoying the conversations that happen between coveys, these moments leave a lasting impact.

Thank you to our volunteers, landowners, guides, and supporters who make these adventures possible. Together, we're building community, creating memories, and serving those who have served us.

I think one of the greatest dangers facing the Church today is consumerism.

For years, we’ve trained people to ask:
“What can this church do for me?”
“Did I like the worship?”
“Can they entertain me for an hour?”
“Do they have slick programs that fit my family?”

Without realizing it, we’ve often turned the Church into a product to consume instead of a people on mission.

And for the last few decades the church has catered to this consumerism. Whoever has the best show wins! Church growth has become building our own kingdoms and brands even at the expense of other churches in our community.

Unfortunately-for much of my adult life, I fell into this trap.

But Jesus never invited me to consume or lead a church that caters to consumers.

He invites us to die to ourselves.
He calls us to pick up our cross- daily. He calls us to travel the narrow road.

Maybe it’s time for Christian men to stop asking, “What’s in it for me?” and start proclaiming, “Here I am Lord, send me!”

Maybe pastors need to not be so consumed with building their kingdoms and join Christ in building His Kingdom.

Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate… For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction… But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.” (Matthew 7:13–14)

It’s time to get Off the Grid!
