REMINDER: The City of Bismarck’s HRC Community Conversation on the topic of homelessness is tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on April 21 at Dream Center Bismarck, off South 12th Street (1805 Park Avenue). The program begins with a panel discussion, followed by an opportunity for public input.

The Arc of Bismarck Presents: Navigating Disability Services – Autism Acceptance

Join The Arc of Bismarck for a community-centered event focused on autism acceptance and empowering individuals and families through knowledge, connection, and access to resources.

This special presentation will feature expert insights from Red Door Pediatric Therapy, Family Voices of North Dakota, and Anne Carlsen. Attendees will gain valuable information on navigating disability services, understanding available supports, and strengthening advocacy efforts.

In addition to the presentation, resource tables will be available, providing direct access to a wide range of local service providers and support organizations. Confirmed community partners include:

Navigating Disability Services: A Workshop for Families & Self-Advocates

Join us for a free, informative workshop designed to help individuals with disabilities, families, and self-advocates better understand and navigate available disability services and supports.

This workshop will feature presentations from Burleigh County Housing Authority, Kristen Dvorak (Arc of Bismarck executive director) & ND Protection & Advocacy, offering practical guidance on housing resources, rights, advocacy, and how to access critical services.

Location: The Dream Center, 1805 Park Ave, Bismarck

Whether you are supporting a loved one, advocating for yourself, or simply want to learn more about available resources, this workshop is a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge, ask questions, and connect with local organizations committed to disability advocacy and support.
