You’re saving the dog’s life, but also yours. Walking, companionship, and keeping your mind active. The dog gets you outside, you can both train together. Studies show that the companionship of a dog lengthens and broadens your life. If you’re dealing with depression, the dog can help keep you focused and keep your dopamine higher.

Dogs are uniquely qualified to offer genuine and sincere love back. They love you unconditionally. Especially the pit mixes. They are particularly easy to train.

Life is just more interesting with a dog.

He was rescued at Burns Trailhead near Piedmont along with his friend, Clyde on Saturday December 13th.

Right now he’s home with their foster parents who are taking care of their veterinary needs. Playing with Clyde and meeting new people.

He’s ready to be adopted.

Meet Clyde

He and his friend Bernie, were lost out at Burns Trailhead near Piedmont when Lori found them and decided to help.

Clyde is fun and playful, and has taken to training very quickly. He’s a smart boy. Sometimes he just wants to curl in your lap and watch tv with you. Sometimes he wants to run outside and chase a ball.

Breed: Pit Mix
Age: 1 year old
Weight: 45 lb
Gender: male
Personality: Will be great in a house with a yard.
