💙 Is God calling you to missions? When you think of Reel Life International, you may think of short-term mission trips we lead around the world. But did you know we also come alongside churches, universities, and organizations and facilitate their mission experiences? Our goal is simple: handle the details so our partners can focus on what matters most, serving others and sharing the gospel.

⚾️ Recently we had the privilege of hosting a team of college-aged baseball players and their leaders in the Dominican Republic. Baseball is a powerful tool for ministry in the DR. Young players often spent hours each day training with hopes of reaching the major leagues.
As the team played alongside local young people they shared an important truth, regardless of our success, true satisfaction is only found in a relationship with Jesus.

🩺 We also partnered with Samford University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in southern Baja, where students served through medical clinics, community outreach, and evangelism.

On both trips, God opened doors for meaningful relationships and Gospel conversations, and several people pray to receive Jesus!

And we’re just getting started. Reel Life is currently helping plan Spring Break mission trips to Panama, Costa Rica and Baja with Onward at Auburn University and Campus Outreach at The University of Alabama and Ole Miss, along with spring trips for several churches.

Did you know that Reel Life facilitates mission trips for partner churches and organizations? Last week, we had the honor of partnering with the
Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Samford University as they traveled to Southern Baja to serve alongside local missionaries.
Through PT and medical clinics, home visits, and community outreach, these students used their skills to care for people in need while sharing the love and hope of Christ.

They went to provide physical therapy, but God used them for so much more.

Throughout the week, they cared for more than 100 individuals facing everything from chronic pain and injuries to addiction recovery, amputations, and life-changing health challenges. They served men and women who needed physical healing, but even more importantly, they took time to listen to their stories, remind them of their value, and share that they have a Heavenly Father who cares for them.
This trip was a beautiful reminder that while we are called to serve others, we are ultimately invited to participate in the work God is already doing.

Some people think going on a mission trip may be too hard. But we know the hardest part is saying goodbye.

This week in Southern Baja, we watched the Lord move in ways only He can.

We hosted Vacation Bible School and saw the numbers grow every day as children packed the churches to hear that God is their Creator, their safe place, and the One who loves them beyond measure. We walked dusty streets, prayed with families in their homes, bandaged the wounded, presented gifts of solar lights, medical kits, and bibles, and shared the hope of Jesus.

We rejoiced as dozens of people prayed to receive Jesus during our outreach and witnessed an entire family being baptized.. glimpses of heaven that none of us will ever forget.

Our high school, college-aged, and young adult team members stepped out in faith, boldly shared the Gospel, prayed with strangers, loved on children, and discovered firsthand that God can use anyone who is willing to simply say, “Here I am.”

Our hearts were also deeply impacted by Pastor Ramón, Venecia, and their precious family. They opened not only their ministry but their home to us. Every meal was lovingly prepared by Venecia, her mother, and the women of their church, Harvest Cabo. They served generously with joy and kindness, giving us a beautiful picture of Christ’s love through their hospitality. Their passion for making disciples challenged and encouraged every one of us.

Mission trips don’t just change the places we serve… they change us. We return home with a deeper love for God’s people and the reminder that the Great Commission isn’t just for one week in Mexico. It’s our calling every single day.
