Reproductive Justice means responding and showing up when impacted communities need us the most.

Right now, folks in Lower Alabama are without power until Tuesday or longer and many have lost their cars and their entire homes due to Hurricane Isaias. Roads are blocked, power lines are down, and local businesses like grocery stores and restaurants have been forced to close until power’s restored.

Over the weekend, the Yellowhammer Fund Team jumped into action to help those dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane by loading up the Repro Raven bus with hot food, non perishables, diapers, and wipes to assist as much as possible.

Providing crisis support means we need more funds and resources to continue helping those in need. Donate now to help ensure that we can continue to assist folks in Gulf states.

Yellowhammer Fund is committed to supporting people impacted by Hurricane Isaias. Today, we mobilized in Brewton, AL to provide crisis support, including hot meals, nonperishable food, diapers, wipes, and other essential items to help our neighbors get through this difficult time.

Our bodies, families, and futures are all connected to the systems shaping our lives. So yes, ALL OF IT is reproductive justice!

New data shows ectopic pregnancy deaths are rising, with higher rates in states with strict abortion bans. Here in Alabama, ectopic pregnancy care is legally allowed but what does reproductive healthcare look like when getting care in time can be the difference between life and death?

Monday marked International Safe Abortion Day, but the fight for safe, accessible abortion care doesn’t end when the day does.

This year’s theme, Solidarity in Action, reminds us that reproductive justice requires more than words. It means building and strengthening systems of care, removing barriers to abortion access, and showing up for everyone who needs care.

At Yellowhammer Fund, we know abortion care is community care. And in Alabama and across the Deep South, we remain committed to a future where everyone has the resources, support, and freedom to make decisions about their own bodies and lives.
