Beginning in 2026, the old-style, blue ID cards will no longer be accepted, regardless of the printed expiration date.

In order to maintain base access, please visit your nearest DEERS/ID card office to obtain a new ID.

If you're unable to make it to a military installation, you can also request a new card through the RAPIDS ID Card Office Online: https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE |

It’s a beautiful day for advocacy!

AFSA is on the Hill today talking about some of the important bills that were discussed during the many hearings over the past couple of weeks.

One of these bills is H.R. 6452, Veterans Scam and Fraud Evasion Act of 2023. This bill was recently amended and forwarded to the full committee during the subcommittee markup last week.

H.R. 6452 would establish a Veterans Scam and Fraud Evasion Officer in the VA.
