Pass the Gear, Equip the Future is a donation drive operated by the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau to collect new and gently used sports equipment.

In partnership with Birmingham Park & Recreation and the Birmingham Youth Sports League, and in celebration of the Amazon Magic City Classic presented by Coca-Cola, this first initiative aims to help children across the City of Birmingham access the football gear they need to play safely and confidently. Donations can be dropped off at the Downtown Visitor Center or at the GBCVB tent at the Magic City Classic Tailgate.
