The Cahaba Theatre Group Inc Our mission is to produce theatrical performances locally, giving local actors, directors, and writers an opportunity to showcase their craft.

Our intent is to partner with local venues, promoting them as well as our own dramatic performances. We are a 501c3 non-profit.

After a whirlwind few weeks, an extraordinary cast, a lot of laughter, a few emotional gut-punches, and enough 80s atmosphere to make your mixtape jealous… Love/Sick by John Cariani closes TODAY.

What started as a short process has become something genuinely special. This cast found trust, rhythm, humor, heartbreak, and so much truth in these beautifully quirky little love stories. I couldn’t be more proud of every single person involved.

If you’ve ever fallen in love, questioned love, survived love, laughed because otherwise you’d cry… this show is for you.

✨ Behind every great love story… is a whole lot of organized chaos. ✨

As Love/Sick by John Cariani gets ready for its ONE WEEKEND ONLY run, we want to shine a neon spotlight on two of the incredible people helping bring this gloriously 80s-infused production to life behind the scenes:

🎭 Terry Hermes — our steadfast Stage Manager, keeper of schedules, wrangler of props, problem-solver, calm-in-the-chaos, and quite possibly the only reason any of us know where we’re supposed to be.

🎭 Martha Summey — our Assistant Director, creative collaborator, thoughtful outside eye, and indispensable support in shaping this funny, heartfelt, beautifully awkward evening of theatre.

It takes a whole team to make the magic happen, and *Love/Sick* is better because of these two. 💜✨
