UAB Honorary Coaches The UAB Honorary Coaches is an organization dedicated to promoting Coach Bill Clark's message of Excellence for the UAB football team.

The UAB Honorary Coaches is an organization dedicated to promoting Coach Bill Clark's message of Excellence for UAB Football. His message revolves around excelling in six areas: academics, recruiting, character education, sports medicine, coaching, and training. We know them best as Coach Clark's Six Pillars of Excellence. Clark's primary goal is to groom our student-athletes into stellar pillars of society both on and off the field and to prepare them for life after football.

2017...What a Year!! We witnessed the Return of UAB Football, a Phenomenal 8-5 win season, and a trip to the beach for the Bahamas Bowl! Such success doesn’t come without rewards as Coach Bill Clark was named CBS Sports 2017 National Coach of the Year! This year was a whirlwind of excitement for Blazer fans everywhere. Thank you 2017, you were wonderful! And here’s to 2018!! We’re excited to see what you have in store for us!! 🎉🐉🏈🍾🎉

TOMORROW! Come cheer on the UAB Blazers at the official watch party for the Bahamas Bowl! We’ll be showing the game on our GIANT, 9-screen video wall in The Grill at Iron City and will have some “Bahamas”-themed food specials during the game. Kickoff is at 11:30AM. See you there!
