Meet Brenda Pope, Transportation Director at Kid One Transport and one of the dedicated individuals helping children and families across Alabama access the care they need.
For the past 14 years, Brenda has played a vital role in Kid One Transport's mission by coordinating the daily operations of 14 vehicles serving 38 counties across Alabama. Her work helps ensure children and expectant mothers with limited or no transportation can get to medical appointments safely and on time.
Behind every scheduled ride is Brenda's commitment to helping families overcome barriers to healthcare. Whether she's coordinating routes during the workday or responding after hours when needed, her dedication helps connect thousands of children to essential and, at times, life-saving medical care.
When asked to describe Brenda in one word, her team chose "selfless." Her unwavering commitment reminds us that prevention takes many forms, and compassionate people like Brenda make a lasting difference in the lives of Alabama's children and families.
