Our Holiday Healers went shopping last night! About 20 instructors and students bought gifts for 5 kids from the ages of 2-12 years old picking out needs, wants and interests! Thank you to Grace Klein for providing the families to shop for and thank you to our students who learned about giving back and how appreciate we should be for the things we take for granted!

One way to teach kids to make more friends is to have them learn to encourage those around them. The more friends we have the less bullies will be around.
We learned how to make friends by encouraging each other with "Happy Planks"!

It has been an awesome year for Hope For Healing Scars!

• New Super Kid STAND-UP to Bullying Content for elementary students
• STAND-UP To Bullying Class & Seminar for elementary schools
• Tae Kwon Do Classes for inner-city kids at camp
• Holiday Healer program to shop for children in need, and help them to have a special holiday
• Junior Advisory Board (JAB) implemented to teach leadership skills and provide more community service projects
• Miracle League event to assist kids with physical and mental disabilities
• STAND-UP To Bullying Open House Classes
• Teenage Girls Self-defense training classes
• Corporate and Church Group Self-defense seminars
• Free Women's Self-defense Seminar

PUT YOUR BEST EFFORT INTO BEING THE BEST YOU!

Instilling VALUES in our kids should be intentional! Teaching values like HARD WORK starts with a postive attitude and a little creativity!

Watch Master Scarsella work with kids to teach how doing push-ups can be fun and good for us!

Teaching why WORKING HARD can be fun and benficial is important to kids to develop the right attitude towards challenges they may face in the future!

The POWER of our POSTURE

One of the first STAND-UP To Bullying is to understand the power in the way we look, sound and act. Bullies look for people to pick on that are "too much or too little".
Watch Master Scarsella explain the power of our posture to students at our STAND-UP To Bullying Open House class.

This year's Board Break-a-thon Charity Event is raising funds to be able to create more content to allow our youth to become empowered to prevent bullying and handle tough situations that may arise in kids lives.
