Billings school district officials broke ground Monday on a $15 million renovation project to give new life to the historic Daylis Stadium.

The renovation will feature new grandstands, turf, locker rooms and a track.

For Senior High School head football coach Chris Murdock, this day has been a long time coming.

The City of Billings is looking for applicants to fill the following positions on the Public Art Committee. Lend you time, talents, and expertise to serving on this community committee.

1. One artist at large
2. One representative from the economic or community development field
3. One representative referred by the Billings Arts Association, or , alternatively, any other art-related organization designated by the City Council.
4. One representative referred by the Native American Development Corporation, or alternatively any other organization representing the interests of Native Americans designated by City Council.
5. One representative from the engineering, architecture, landscape architect, or three-dimensional art field.
6. Two members of the public that have an interest in public art.
