This one sheet 101 Ranch Wild West show lithograph (28"x42") was designed by National Print and Lithography Co. in 1912. A black & white image of this poster was used in a variety of newspaper ads for the show in 1912. What is unusual is that only one copy of this poster is known to be exist today. Another poster with the same subject was designed and printed by the Strobridge Litho Company. Many copies of that poster are preserved today in a variety of museum and private collections.

Went to Longhorn Steakhouse in Jensen Beach, FL last night. Mounted on a prominent wall in the restaurant is this painting of Bill Pickett. Bill was one of the most famous 101 Ranch employees; The manager of the restaurant told me that the painting is in all their restaurants; The culture of the company is to respect the history of the old west.

From the 1890's until the 1930's it was common for railroads to offer special excursion trains to transport people from near by cities to the city or town where a circus or wild west show might be playing. Here are the only two examples of posters that we know that survive advertising an excursion train to the 101 Ranch Real wild West show. The Easton, PA show date shows that the 101 was playing on the same date as Ringlng in 1914. The second poster is for Lynchburg, Virginia in 1925.
