Rep. Tuss represents House District 27 in the Montana Legislature and serves as a MIC voting member. He is the Executive Director of .paw.development and brings years of experience in economic development, infrastructure and the legislative process to the conversation.

Join us September 8 for Infrastructure Hour!

MIC Co-Vice Chair and Montana League of Cities and Towns Executive Director Jennifer Olson, alongside MIC Executive Director Nathan Serlin, will lead a conversation on two key priorities for strengthening Montana’s infrastructure: the Montana Coal Endowment Program (MCEP) review and the Coal Tax Trust Fund.

The discussion will focus on closing infrastructure funding gaps, creating dedicated funding for new infrastructure, and reducing red tape and other barriers that drive up project costs.

Reliable infrastructure is the foundation of strong communities. The Billings West End Water Treatment Plant is an investment that will strengthen water reliability and support growth for years to come.

The $75 million Billings West End water treatment plant is nearing completion and is scheduled to be finished and providing water for Billings residents starting May 2027.

The plant is part of a $150 million infrastructure project, which includes about $25 million in underground pipe manufacturing and about $50 million in two reservoirs that will provide consistent water for the plant.
