Born in Wales, Dulais, has been a professional musician on both sides of the Atlantic for over 30 years.
Dulais Rhys and wife Leigh moved to Billings in 2018 to help facilitate the production of Blodwen, the first opera written in Welsh, produced by Rimrock Opera May 2019.
Dulais created the reduced orchestration of the score for Blodwen and served as Conductor and Music Director for the production.
When not teaching or playing music, Dulais teaches piano, travels extensively for public lecturing, mostly on music / Wales / America topics.

Sarah Waggoner is excited to be performing once again with Rimrock Opera.
Miss Waggoner graduated with a Master of Arts in Vocal Performance from Pensacola Christian College, Florida. While studying in Pensacola, Miss Waggoner performed the role of Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, as well as performed in several other operas, including Ruddigore and L’elisir da’more.

Recent Rimrock Opera roles include Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, The Fairy Godmother in Viardot's Cinderella and Salome in Strauss' Salome, and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance.
Sarah is devoted to bringing opera to life for her community and has enjoyed the variety of roles she's been able to perform.
In addition to performing and working full-time at Billings Clinic, Sarah enjoys traveling, practicing yoga and teaching piano and voice.

"Amahl and the Night Visitors is an opera in one act by Gian Carlo Menotti with an original English libretto by the composer. It was commissioned by NBC and first performed by the NBC Opera Theatre on December 24, 1951, in New York City at NBC Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center, where it was broadcast live on television from that venue as the debut production of the Hallmark Hall of Fame. It was the first opera specifically composed for television in the United States."

Based on F.W. Murnau's 1922 silent vampire film--a classic of German Expressionist cinema-- Nosferatu creates a poetic version of the Dracula story.

Dana Gioia, previous U.S. poet-laureate, has written the brillant libretto. Composer Alva Henderson’s rich neo-romantic score for Nosferatu is full of soaring melodies, arias, duets and trios, with a thrilling Dies Irae for the chorus. Mr. Henderson’s masterly writing for the voice is without parallel in contemporary music.

Premiered in Billings, Montana, produced by RImrock Opera, in 2004, to standing ovations, the opera Nosferatu has been triumphantly showcased around the U.S. and in New York. Henderson and Gioia's thrilling version of the vampire myth tells the story of Nosferatu, "the undead," as seen through the eyes of the heroine, a gifted young woman trapped in a tragedy beyond her control.
