We’re hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician in Billings, Montana.

This role helps keep NADC’s clinic, community center, and office buildings running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include HVAC and mechanical systems, plumbing, basic electrical work, life-safety checks, general facility maintenance, and support for our vehicle fleet. Experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Federal officials say more resources are coming—but Native families are still waiting for answers.

The FBI has announced a surge of personnel to address the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP) crisis, deploying investigators and victim support teams across Indian Country.

Advocates say the crisis remains deeply underreported, with thousands of cases still unresolved and systemic barriers continuing to delay justice.

Community leaders and the Family Tree Nurturing Center gather at the Yellowstone County Courthouse lawn on Friday to place pinwheels in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each year, pinwheels are displayed through the month of April as a symbol of hope. Mayor Mike Nelson and Commissioner Chris White have proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month in the city of Billings and in Yellowstone County.
