What is ALERT Family Camp?
This week of fellowship and fun draws families from all across the United States for a spiritually uplifting vacation in the scenic area of East Texas. Families enjoy campfires, heartwarming conversations, and make many new friends as they participate in various activities such as archery, rappelling, canoeing, volleyball, crafts, and more!
Last year’s speakers included Eric Ludy, senior pastor of the Church at Ellerslie and author of The Bravehearted Gospel; Dr. Lew Sterrett, skilled horse trainer with a passion for discipleship; Bob Gray II, a local pastor with a heart for outreach; the Ron Hamilton family, gifted vocalists who have blessed and encouraged others through Majesty Music for over forty years; and Tom Burch, our Basic Training Chaplain who inspires those around him to continue fighting the good fight of faith.
