As my time as Big Sandy Youth Softball Commissioner comes to an end, I want to sincerely thank the Big Sandy community for allowing me the opportunity to serve in this role.
It has been a pleasure working with the 62 players who signed up this season and watching them learn, grow, and develop their love for the game. I am also incredibly grateful to the parents, coaches, and volunteers who stepped up to make this season possible. Your support and commitment are what make youth sports successful.
One of the most important lessons softball teaches is that improvement comes from learning the game and putting in the work at home. The same is true for any sport. Success is built on effort, attitude, and dedication both on and off the field.
I am excited to see Jerry Bond take over as Big Sandy Youth Softball Commissioner. Jerry has already done so much for our programs, and I know he will continue to help them grow and thrive. The future of Big Sandy Youth Softball is in great hands.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve this amazing community. I wish all of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers the very best moving forward.
Until next season,
Kelsey Sheeley
