Welcome to the team, Laura! We're excited to work with Laura Britting in her new role as Affiliate Foundation Manager at Fremont Area Community Foundation. Laura will support our Community Foundation along with Lake County Community Foundation and Osceola County Community Foundation.

We’re excited to welcome Laura Britting to our staff! Laura joins the team as our Affiliate Foundation Manager, helping support our three affiliate foundations in Lake, Mecosta, and Osceola counties. Laura grew up in Michigan and has lived in Lake County for several years. She has extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations and loves hiking, spending time near the water, and camping with her family. “In previous positions, I’ve worked with organizations in Lake, Mecosta, and Osceola counties,” said Laura. “I’m looking forward to engaging again with these communities and helping the affiliate foundations make an impact for people in our area.”

We're so grateful for the Conrads and the many ways they have made a difference in our community!

Today on we are grateful for Dr. Jerry and Rita Conrad who give through our affiliate foundation Mecosta County Community Foundation (MCCF). Before retiring, Jerry was an orthopedic surgeon and Rita taught high school English and ESL at Ferris. Both have served on MCCF’s board and they have created scholarships to help local students continue their educations.
